Key Technical Parameters: Core Selection Basis

- Thickness: Single-pane glass thickness is typically 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, or 12mm; common combinations for insulated glass are "6+12A+6" and "8+12A+8" ("A" represents the spacer width); laminated glass thickness is adjusted according to the number and thickness of the film layers, commonly "6+0.76PVB+6" and "8+1.52PVB+8".

- Visible Light Transmittance (Tvis): Energy-saving curtain wall glass is generally controlled at 60%-80%, balancing lighting and energy saving; sun-shading colored glaze glass can be as low as 20%-50%.

- Shading Coefficient (Sc): Measures the ability of glass to block solar radiation heat. Low-E glass typically has a shading coefficient of 0.3-0.6; the lower the value, the better the shading effect.

- Heat transfer coefficient (U-value): The U-value of insulated Low-E glass is generally 1.8-2.8 W/(㎡·K). The lower the U-value, the better the thermal insulation performance.

- Wind pressure resistance: The wind pressure resistance rating of curtain wall glass for high-rise buildings is usually not lower than level 3 (≥2.5kPa), depending on the building height and the wind pressure level of the area.

- Spontaneous breakage rate: The spontaneous breakage rate of tempered glass is controlled below 0.3‰. Using tempered glass with homogenization treatment (HST), the spontaneous breakage rate can be reduced to below 0.1‰.
