Product Parameters
The main function of fire-resistant glass in fire prevention is to control the spread of fire or isolate smoke. It is a measure-type fire-resistant material, and its fire-resistant effect is evaluated by its fire resistance performance. It is a special type of glass that, after special processing and treatment, can maintain its integrity and heat insulation properties in specified fire resistance tests. The base glass for fire-resistant glass can be float glass, tempered glass, composite fire-resistant glass, or even monolayer fire-resistant glass.
Applications
Suitable for fire-resistant glass partition walls, fire doors, fire windows, exterior curtain walls, stair railings, smoke curtains, skylights, etc., where heat insulation is not required.
Monolithic High-Strength Fire-Resistant Glass
Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass is a special building material that combines the light transmission properties of ordinary glass with the high-temperature resistance and flame-retardant properties of fire-resistant materials. It differs fundamentally from the fire-resistant glass produced using the grouting method currently used in the domestic market, both in terms of manufacturing process and product performance. Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass is produced using high-tech technology and new processes, making it a high-tech product. Internationally, only a few countries such as France and Japan can produce it. Comparative tests have shown that our product performance is fully comparable to foreign products.
Product Characteristics
The product has good optical properties, with light transmittance consistent with ordinary float glass.
The glass has high strength, six times that of ordinary float glass, classifying it as a safety glass product. It can be combined to form various composite glass: two panes of glass can be laminated to form insulated glass, providing energy saving, sound insulation, and heat insulation.
A coating can be applied to the glass surface, providing heat reflection and aesthetic effects.
Fire Resistance: Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass is produced by treating float glass using a special method. It is partially directional, meaning both surfaces of the glass have the same fire-resistant effect. It can maintain the integrity of the glass for 90 minutes, effectively preventing the spread of flames and smoke, giving people sufficient time to evacuate and carry out rescue work.
Precautions:
Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass is not suitable for drilling or chamfering.
Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass only meets fire integrity requirements and does not provide thermal insulation.
Monolithic high-strength fire-resistant glass cannot be repeatedly used at temperatures above 200 degrees Celsius.
